## 1. Zero-Data Retention & Code Privacy Guarantee
At **Extension X-Ray**, user privacy and source code integrity are our highest priority. We believe developer intelligence tools must protect your proprietary code:
### A. What We Do NOT Collect
- **No Browsing History:** We do not track, log, or monitor the websites you visit or the extensions you inspect.
- **No Source Code Retention:** Any JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or JSON code sent through our reverse-engineering, AST decompiler, or AI prompt generator is processed in **ephemeral, volatile memory**. No code samples, ASTs, or scripts are ever stored to disk, written to long-term databases, or used for AI model training.
- **No Keystroke / Clipboard Logging:** We do not record user keystrokes, form inputs, or clipboard content.
- **No Third-Party Ad Trackers:** Our extension contains zero third-party marketing beacons, analytics pixels, or advertising trackers.
### B. Chrome Web Store Manifest V3 Compliance
Extension X-Ray is built in strict adherence to Google Chrome's Manifest V3 developer policies. All inspection actions take place locally on the user's browser client or through secured, TLS 1.3 encrypted cloud proxy endpoints.

## 2. Google Authentication & Account Data
To provide a seamless, license-key-free experience, Extension X-Ray uses Google Authentication:
### A. Data Collected via Google Sign-In
- **Email Address:** Used as your primary account identifier to link your active subscription and credit quota.
- **Display Name & Avatar URL:** Used to personalize your sidepanel user badge and header.
### B. Purpose of Collection & Access Limits
- Account data is used strictly for authentication, subscription fulfillment, and quota synchronization via our secure backend and Firebase Firestore.
- Extension X-Ray **never** requests access to your Google Drive files, Gmail inbox, contact lists, or sensitive Google account scopes.
- You may sign out at any time from the account dropdown menu, which immediately terminates your local session.

## 3. Subscription Plans, Dual Independent Quotas & Fair Use
### A. Dual Independent Quota Architecture
To ensure fair utility, Extension X-Ray tracks **AI Decompiles** and **Deep AI Rebuild Specs** as separate, independent buckets:
- **Free Account:** Includes **3 Free AI Decompiles** and **1 Free Deep AI Rebuild Spec**. Consuming all 3 AI Decompiles will not prevent you from using your remaining Deep Spec (and vice versa).
- **Sprint Pass ($4.99 / week):** 30 AI Decompiles + 15 Deep AI Rebuild Specs.
- **Monthly Pro ($19.99 / month):** 100 AI Decompiles + 50 Deep AI Rebuild Specs.
- **Annual Pro ($189.99 / year):** 120 AI Decompiles / month + 60 Deep AI Rebuild Specs / month.
- **Instant Booster Packs ($2.99 – $29.99):** One-time credit top-ups with bonus Deep Specs included.
### B. Full Bucket Freedom (Zero Daily Throttling)
All paid plans provide your full quota upfront. There are zero daily usage caps—you may utilize your credits in a single sprint or distribute them throughout your billing cycle.
### C. Dynamic 1x / 2x / 3x Credit Consumption Scaling
To fairly allocate neural compute based on script length:
- **Standard Script (up to 8,000 characters / ~2,000 tokens):** Consumes **1 Decompile Credit**.
- **Medium Script (up to 16,000 characters / ~4,000 tokens):** Consumes **2 Decompile Credits**.
- **Large Script (up to 24,000 characters / ~6,000 tokens):** Consumes **3 Decompile Credits**.
### D. Strict Billing Cycle Quota Expiration & No-Rollover Policy
- **Use-It-Or-Lose-It:** All quota buckets (including both AI Decompiles and Deep AI Rebuild Specs) are valid strictly for the duration of the purchased billing term (7 days for Weekly, 30 days for Monthly, 365 days for Annual).
- **Zero Rollover:** Upon the expiration or conclusion of a billing cycle, any remaining unused credits immediately and automatically expire. Unused credits **do not roll over** or accumulate into subsequent renewal periods.
- **Immediate Expiry on Cancellation:** If a user cancels their subscription, their account remains Pro until the end of the current paid billing period, after which all access is revoked and remaining credits expire.
### E. Booster Pack Validity Linked to Active Subscription
- **Active Subscription Prerequisite:** Booster packs provide supplementary credits intended to top up active workloads.
- **Expiration Anchor:** Booster credits are strictly anchored to the user's active membership validity. If a user's underlying subscription lapses or expires, access to any remaining booster credits is concurrently suspended and expired. To resume utilization, the user must reactivate an active subscription.

## 4. Payment Processing & Automated Webhooks
All payments and subscription billings are securely handled by **Gumroad** (PCI-DSS compliant):
- **In-Sidepanel Checkout:** When upgrading, checkout is loaded directly inside your sidepanel overlay with your verified Google email pre-filled.
- **Instant Webhook Sync:** Upon successful payment, Gumroad dispatches an encrypted webhook notification to our Vercel serverless cloud backend (`/api/gumroad/webhook`), which instantly activates your Pro tier and provisions your credits in Firebase Firestore within seconds.
- **Zero Payment Card Storage:** Extension X-Ray never sees, collects, or stores your credit card numbers or financial account details.

## 5. Dynamic Pricing & Upstream Infrastructure Cost Adjustments
Extension X-Ray utilizes high-throughput neural AI models (including Google Gemini Flash-Lite architecture).
### A. Upstream Cost Fluctuation Clause
Subscription fees and booster pack prices reflect current cloud and neural API infrastructure expenses. The service operator reserves the right to:
1. **Adjust Subscription Prices:** Modify recurring subscription fees or booster pack rates in response to changes in upstream model provider pricing.
2. **Re-Calibrate Token Allocations:** Adjust the number of credits provided or character thresholds per credit if provider token pricing fluctuates significantly.
### B. Active Subscribers vs New Buyers
- **Existing Subscribers:** In the event of an upward pricing adjustment, active subscribers will receive a minimum of **14 days advance written notice** prior to renewal. Subscribers retain the right to cancel before the new rate takes effect.
- **New Purchases:** Updated rates apply immediately to any new purchases initiated after policy updates.

## 6. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- **Cancel Anytime:** Subscriptions may be canceled at any time directly through your Gumroad receipt link or customer portal with zero cancellation penalties.
- **Access Period:** Upon cancellation, members retain access to their Pro benefits and remaining quota until the end of the active billing term.
- **Refunds:** Because neural decompilations consume real-time, non-recoverable cloud API tokens, purchases are generally non-refundable once credits have been utilized, except where mandated by applicable consumer protection laws.
